When You Know Him, Your Answers Are Sure
**Introduction:**
In a world filled with uncertainties, knowing God provides a source of surety and peace that transcends human understanding. The scriptures are replete with examples that demonstrate how a personal relationship with God guarantees guidance, provision, and answers to prayers. Knowing Him is not just about believing; it’s about experiencing His faithfulness in every aspect of life.
**Biblical Assurance:**
In John 10:14, Jesus declares, “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” This relationship between the shepherd and his sheep is a powerful metaphor for how intimately God knows those who follow Him and how this knowledge translates into divine guidance and care.
**Examples of Divine Surety:**
– **Daniel:** In Daniel 2, when King Nebuchadnezzar demanded the interpretation of his dream, Daniel turned to God with confidence. The subsequent revelation of the dream’s meaning to Daniel not only saved his life but also proved that God provides answers when we call on Him.
– **Elijah on Mount Carmel:** 1 Kings 18 showcases Elijah’s confidence in God’s power. His challenge to the prophets of Baal was a bold statement of certainty in God’s reality and might. The dramatic response from heaven—fire consuming his sacrifice—was a clear answer from God.
**Practical Application:**
The assurance of having answers from God comes from knowing Him deeply. This requires regular engagement with the Bible, prayer, and active faith.

– **Deepen Your Knowledge:** Commit to reading the Bible daily. As you understand more about God’s nature and His promises, your faith will grow.
