HOLD ON TO HIM

 Just In Time

**Introduction:**

In moments of trial and uncertainty, the essence of our faith is often distilled into a single action: holding on to God. The resurrection of Jesus Christ exemplifies this profound principle. Despite the seeming finality of the crucifixion, God’s promise held true, and Jesus did not see corruption in the tomb. Just as God did not abandon His Son, He will not abandon us. We are reminded through this act that maintaining our grip on faith can lead to miraculous turnarounds and divine fulfillments.

The Power of Resurrection

The resurrection of Jesus is a cornerstone of Christian faith, demonstrating God’s fidelity to His Word and His power over death. As stated in Acts 2:24, “God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him.” This pivotal event not only signifies Jesus’ victory over death but also serves as a perpetual reminder that God is ever-present, even in our darkest hours.

Biblical Encouragement to Hold Fast

  • Hebrews 10:23 encourages us to “hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
  • James 1:12 promises that “Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.”

Call to Action

  • Stay Connected in Prayer: In challenging times, intensify your communication with God. He is our source of strength and renewal.
  • Engage with Scripture: Regularly immerse yourself in the Bible to remind yourself of God’s promises and His historical faithfulness.
  • Share and Encourage: Use your experiences to encourage others. Sharing how you’ve managed to hold on to God can inspire and uplift those around you.

**Prayer Point:**

Lord, thank You for the enduring promise of Your presence and power. Help us to hold tightly to You through every season of life. As You raised Jesus from the dead, raise our hopes and fortify our faith. Guide us to be steadfast in our trust and unwavering in our commitment to You. May we always find strength in Your faithfulness and courage in Your promises. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
