God Always Comes Through
Trusting in Divine Faithfulness
In every moment of doubt or trial, there is a powerful truth that can bring peace to our troubled hearts: God always comes through. This isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s a promise that’s been proven time and again throughout the Bible.
Consider the story of Abraham, called by God to leave everything familiar behind with the promise of a great nation coming from him (Genesis 12:1-3). Despite his advanced age and Sarah’s barrenness, God fulfilled His promise with the birth of Isaac. This story reminds us of God’s faithfulness and timing, which may not always align with our own but is always perfect (Genesis 21:1-2).
Then there’s Joseph, sold into slavery by his own brothers, yet his faith in God’s providence never wavered. His journey from the pit to the palace is a testament to God’s ability to turn what seems like the end into just the beginning (Genesis 50:20). Through every trial, God was with Joseph, orchestrating events for His glory and Joseph’s good.
Perhaps one of the most poignant examples is Jesus Christ Himself. On the cross, it seemed as if all was lost. Yet, the resurrection three days later was God’s emphatic statement that not even death could thwart His plan of salvation (Luke 24:6-7). In every moment of despair, remember the empty tomb. It’s the ultimate proof that God always comes through.
