Faith is Not Optional, It’s a Must

Faith is the foundation of our relationship with God. Without it, it is impossible to please Him. The Bible clearly states in Hebrews 11:6, “And without faith, it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.” This scripture shows us that faith is not a choice—it’s a must!

Faith is what allows us to trust in God’s promises, even when circumstances seem bleak. In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” This highlights the power of even the smallest amount of faith. With faith, we can overcome any obstacle, and through faith, God moves in our lives.

The heroes of the Bible, like Abraham, Moses, and David, all lived by faith. They trusted in God’s promises even when it seemed impossible. Abraham, for example, believed God when He promised that he would be the father of many nations despite his old age (Romans 4:18-21). It was his unwavering faith that made him the father of faith.

Faith is not just an add-on to your life—it is essential. In every season, faith must guide us, inspire us, and lead us to trust in God’s divine plan, even when we don’t understand it fully.
