Don’t Give Up, It’s in God’s Hands
**Introduction:**
In our journey of faith, there are times when we feel discouraged, tempted to give up, or lose hope. But as believers, we must remember that God is always in control, and His timing is perfect. The parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1-8 teaches us a valuable lesson about perseverance and unwavering faith in God’s promises.
**Scriptural Insight:**
In Luke 18:1-8, Jesus tells the story of a widow who persistently approached an unjust judge, seeking justice against her adversary. Despite the judge’s initial reluctance, he eventually granted her request because of her persistence. Jesus used this parable to illustrate the importance of always praying and not giving up. If an unjust judge can be moved by persistence, how much more will our loving Heavenly Father respond to the cries of His children?
This parable encourages us to hold on to our faith, even when it seems like our prayers are not being answered. God’s silence is not His denial. Just as the widow received justice, we, too, will see God’s hand move in our lives if we persist in prayer and trust in His timing.

Prayer Point:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the assurance that You are always in control. Help us to trust in Your timing and never give up, even when the road gets tough. Strengthen our hearts, increase our faith, and remind us that all things are possible with You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
