Do Not Be Afraid

Reference: Exodus 14:13-14

In Exodus 14:13-14, we find a powerful declaration by Moses to the Israelites: “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

At this moment, the Israelites were trapped between the Red Sea and the pursuing Egyptian army. Fear and doubt began to creep in, but Moses, with full confidence in God, encouraged them not to be afraid. He reminded them that the battle was not theirs but the Lord’s. This message of reassurance is timeless. No matter what “Egyptians” are chasing you today—whether it’s fear, anxiety, financial struggles, or health issues—God is saying, “Do not be afraid.”

God’s promises are always true, and His power is unmatched. Just as He delivered the Israelites from the Egyptians, He can deliver you from any situation. You may feel trapped or hopeless, but remember, God has the final say, and He is more than capable of turning your situation around.
