**Facts and Circumstances Cannot Change the Promise of God**
In our journey of faith, we often face situations that seem insurmountable and circumstances that challenge our belief in God’s promises. However, the Bible assures us that no matter what we see or experience, the promises of God remain unshakable and steadfast. God’s Word is eternal and His promises are irrevocable, regardless of the facts or circumstances that we encounter.
**Biblical Assurance**
The Bible provides numerous examples of God’s unwavering promises:
– **Numbers 23:19**: “God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?” This verse underscores the reliability and unchanging nature of God’s promises.
– **Isaiah 55:11**: “So is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.” God’s Word is powerful and always fulfills its purpose.
– **Romans 4:20-21**: “Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.” Abraham’s unwavering faith in God’s promise serves as an inspiration for us to trust in God’s Word.
