**Don’t Rule Out God**
In our journey through life, it is easy to become so focused on our plans and goals that we forget the most crucial element: God. Without God’s guidance, our efforts can fall short. The Bible reminds us of the importance of keeping God at the center of our lives and relying on Him as our ultimate guide.
Proverbs 3:5-6 is a foundational scripture for this truth: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” This passage emphasizes the necessity of trusting God completely and acknowledging Him in every aspect of our lives.
James 4:13-15 further warns us about making plans without considering God’s will: “Now listen, you who say, ‘Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.’ Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. Instead, you ought to say, ‘If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.'”
Throughout the Bible, we see examples of individuals who thrived when they included God in their plans. One such example is David, who consistently sought God’s guidance before making decisions. In 1 Samuel 30:8, David inquired of the Lord, “Shall I pursue this raiding party? Will I overtake them?” God answered him, “Pursue them, for you will certainly overtake them and succeed in the rescue.” David’s success was a direct result of his reliance on God.
**Call to Action:**
Make it a priority to seek God’s guidance in all your plans and decisions. Spend time in prayer and study of His Word, asking Him to lead you in the right direction. Share your journey with others and encourage them to trust in God as their guide.
Remember, ruling out God in your plans is a recipe for uncertainty. Embrace His guidance and watch as He leads you to success and fulfillment. Share this message to inspire others to keep God at the center of their journey.
**Prayer Point:**
Heavenly Father, we thank You for being our guide and protector. Help us to trust in You with all our hearts and to seek Your will in all our decisions. Remind us that without You, our efforts are in vain. Lead us on the right path and help us to keep You at the center of our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
