The Resurrection and You
In the early morning light, a group of women approached the tomb where Jesus’ body had been laid, only to find the stone rolled away and the tomb empty. The angel’s message to them was clear and revolutionary: “He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay” (Matthew 28:6). This moment marked a monumental shift not only in the physical whereabouts of Jesus but in the spiritual positioning of humanity. The resurrection of Jesus signifies the ultimate victory over sin and death, a change in our position from condemned to redeemed, from death to life.
The empty tomb is the ultimate proof that Jesus has risen, affirming His power over death and His identity as the Son of God. This historic event changed the position of all who believe in Him, offering us new life and hope. Romans 6:4-5 says, “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life. For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.”

Prayer Point
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your victory over death, which has forever changed our position before God. Help us to live in the reality of Your resurrection, experiencing the new life and hope it brings every day. May we be witnesses to the power of Your resurrection, sharing the joy and transformation it has brought into our lives. In Your victorious name, Amen.
