God Has Not Forgotten You
Hope Through Challenging Times
In the biblical account of Mephibosheth, we encounter a powerful narrative that echoes the enduring truth that God has not forgotten His children, no matter their circumstances. Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan, found himself dwelling in Lo-debar, a place of obscurity and insignificance. However, within this seemingly forgotten land, Mephibosheth was provided refuge and care by Machir, symbolizing God’s continual provision in unexpected ways.
Feeling forgotten or alone? The Bible assures us that God always remembers His children. In 2 Chronicles 20:15, we see Mephibosheth, living in Lo-Debar (meaning “place of no pasture”), dependent on Machir for provision. Yet, God hadn’t forgotten Mephibosheth. Just as David extended kindness to him, God extends His grace to us(2 Chronicles 8:13-16).
Here are more biblical references to assure you of God’s remembrance:
* Isaiah 49:15-16: “Can a mother forget the child she breastfeeds? Though she may forget, I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”
* Hebrews 13:5: “God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I abandon you.'”

* Are you facing challenges? Let go of the fear of being forgotten. Turn to God in prayer and remind yourself of His promises.
Prayer Point:
Dear God, thank You for Your unfailing love and everlasting presence. Help me trust in Your perfect timing and know that You haven’t forgotten me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
